The structure of the podium of Smart Home is complex and diverse, with large panels and many corners, which brings great difficulties to transportation and installation.

Since most of the unit panels of the podium are intra-layer units, the panels are directly closed between the floor and the bottom plate. Therefore, for the panels that require sufficient top space for installation, how to solve the top hoisting is a big problem. To this end, the Weiye project team adopted a unique hoisting solution based on the specific conditions of the site and after communicating with all parties: drilling a hoisting hole with a diameter of 20mm at the corresponding position of the top floor of the panel, arranging a winch, passing the hoisting wire rope through the hole, and hanging the panel for hoisting, which greatly saves the cost of manpower and material resources.

In view of the large number of closing panels generated during the construction process due to too many corners, the project team cancelled the design of corner columns, designed the two corner panels into one, and replaced the large corner materials with a tie-corner aluminum material, which became a highlight of the project. At the same time, the factory-processed frame, on-site post-installed glass and temporary fixing of aluminum tubes were adopted to better ensure the protection of the finished product and the convenience of transportation, making the completed podium curtain wall present a stable and majestic effect.
