The insulating glass of the exposed frame curtain wall should use polysulfide sealant and butyl sealant. The insulating glass of the hidden frame and semi-hidden frame curtain wall should use silicone structural sealant and butyl sealant; the coating surface should be on the second or third surface of the insulating glass.

4. The laminated glass of the curtain wall should be laminated glass synthesized by dry processing of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film. The thickness of the interlayer film (PVB) of the laminated glass of the point-supported glass curtain wall should not be less than 0.76mm.

5. Tempered glass should comply with the provisions of GB9963 "Tempered Glass".

6. All curtain wall glass should be edge-treated.

2. Tempered glass should be used for the panel glass of point-supported glass curtain walls

The panel glass of point-supported glass curtain walls should be tempered glass and its products, otherwise the strength will not meet the requirements due to stress concentration at the punching position.

3. For point-supported glass curtain walls supported by glass ribs, the glass ribs should be tempered laminated glass

For point-supported glass curtain walls supported by glass ribs, the rib glass is a supporting structure, and the stress concentration at the punching point is obvious, so the strength requirement is high; on the other hand, if the glass ribs are broken, the entire curtain wall will collapse. Therefore, tempered laminated glass should be used.

4. Other public places

Obvious warning signs should be set up in public places with high population density, activities of teenagers or young children, and parts that are easily hit during use. Glass curtain walls in public places with high population density and activities of teenagers or young children are prone to being squeezed and hit; in other buildings, parts of the curtain walls that may be hit during normal activities are also prone to glass damage. To ensure personnel safety, safety glass should be used for glass curtain walls in these cases.
